All the concepts and ideas presented were logical, practical, and had the best interest of all the students in mind. I really enjoyed my day and have a new outlook on classroom management. I recommend this seminar to anyone who works with children!

I believe that education should not be limited to the mere transmission of knowledge but should instead focus on equipping students with the skills necessary to navigate an ever-changing world.
Educator, trainer, speaker, and editor
Amanda M. Parrish, DTM, is a K-12 educator and an alumna of the CSU Summer AgriCULTURE Institute. She brings agricultural literacy into core subjects, and she helps educators move from reactive discipline to proactive instructional design, with concrete strategies that win back teaching time.
In seven years in education she has taught at 27 schools in Aurora Public Schools and Adams County, Colorado. She has also trained more than 3,000 frontline employees at Colorado's light rail.
Amanda holds a Master's in Professional Writing and Editing from George Mason University. She has worked as an instructional designer, a writing coach, and a tutor, and she edits educational books.
She is a Distinguished Toastmaster and a longtime Toastmasters member, officer, and leader, and she has worked as a speaker, panelist, and radio interviewee. As a certified Time To Teach trainer, she brings classroom management training to K-12 schools and districts.
Every Time To Teach session ends with strategies teachers can use in their very next class period.
Along the way
She also presented to students from ninth grade through college and was a radio interviewee.
The same design thinking she now brings to classroom management.
