Earn up to four graduate credits while you train.

After a Time To Teach training day, teachers can keep going and earn graduate-level credit through University of Massachusetts Global. It is optional, and it counts toward most professional development requirements.

Why many teachers add the credits

A common question after a training day is whether teachers can earn graduate credit for the work. The answer is yes, and for many educators, it makes the difference between completing a training and walking away with a long-term professional advancement. Credits earned through these programs can apply toward salary lane changes, recertification requirements, and master's degree progress at most institutions.

The credits are optional, and the training day stands on its own without them. For a teacher who is already spending the day on these skills, the credit is a small extra step.

If you have questions about how credits would apply to your specific situation, reach out directly at assistingmindfulartist@gmail.com or call (720) 917-9980. Amanda will help you sort it out.

Graduate-level semester credits

Applicable to salary advancement, recertification, and master's degree programs at most accredited institutions. Always check with your specific institution to confirm transferability.

What educators ask most often.

Is the college credit included in the training cost?

No, college credit is optional and carries a separate fee paid directly to University of Massachusetts Global. The training fee covers the on-site training day and all training materials.

Will these credits transfer to my master's program or salary advancement?

In most cases, yes. UMass Global is WSCUC-accredited and credits typically transfer for salary advancement and recertification requirements. For master's program credit specifically, always confirm with your specific institution's registrar before enrolling.

What's the practicum, and how long does it take?

The follow-up practicum is a structured application of training concepts in your own classroom, documented with a written reflection. Most teachers complete it within 2-3 months of the training, but you have six months from the training date to finish.

Can I earn credits if my school doesn't book training for the full staff?

Credits are tied to attendance at an on-site training, which is typically booked by a school or district. If your school isn't planning to bring in a training, contact us directly, we can sometimes help connect individual teachers with nearby training opportunities.

What's the syllabus for each program?

Full syllabi are provided at the training. They detail the learning objectives, required practicum components, and assessment criteria for each program. If you'd like to see one ahead of time, email assistingmindfulartist@gmail.com.

Plan a training day with credit options.

Tell Amanda about your school. She will send pricing and available dates, and college credit registration information once training is booked.
